Rellius Talmond by Steve Goad

So a few weeks back, I commissioned to do a bit of art for a character that appears in my Mass Effect fanfiction project, Ouroboros, which is set just a few weeks after the end of Mass Effect 2. After bouncing ideas back and forth, and probably going waaaaaaay too in depth with the backstory, plot details, and consistently wall-'o-text'n Steve's inbox, this is the final result, and with any luck, the first of a few items.

While Ouroboros is set after ME2, Rellius' backstory heavily ties in with the existing Mass Effect lore, and actually stands on it's own. I tried my damnedest, short of working at Bioware itself, to ensure that everything was canonically accurate, and hopefully it'll pay off.

Sometimes, creating a story starts with an incredibly simple question. In the case of Rellius Talmond's backstory, it started with the question "How the hell did Saren Arterius lose his arm?" Well...I won't spoil anything yet, but hopefully soon you guys and gals will be reading it.
